The coaching sessions for U7's and under take place for 1 hour on Saturday mornings. During the outdoor season between 10 and 11am on the astro-turf pitches at the back of Perdiswell Leisure Centre, Bilford Road in Worcester. As of Jan 2012 the Saturday Project will be moving to Tudor Grange indoor facilities. Contact Us for more details. For the children’s own safety, please can you ensure for each session the child always: bring their own drinks bottle.
We also advise you to ensure trainers are also brought along (as well as football boots) in case we need / are able to use the indoor sports hall. Please Note: If trainers are worn outside for training - in wet weather they need to be Astro Trainers or ones with a good grip as accidents can happen without the correct footwear in this weather. |
Boot Exchange |
Do you have any football boots which no longer fit your child? Would you like to 'swap' them for some different size boots? Obviously they need to be in good condition, but the club has built up a stock of second hand boots which can be exchanged for a different size. Rather than parents/carers having to constantly worry about the cost of buying replacement boots, simply bring your child's boots (clean) along on a Saturday morning. If your child requires some boots, please speak to one of the Committee Members who can advise you on what is available. The aim of the coaching is to teach the children the basics in football skills. To achieve this we develop the training around different skill sets each week. The training sessions will vary dependant upon the abilities of the children and weather conditions.
